FOLDING

• concept: accessibility to move and transportability 
• lightweight and easily stored/out of the way/stackable

SLIDING

• dimensions low to the ground to accommodate for forum step height
• concept: able to expand/contract to desired size and store away easier
• angled in the interest of comfort so that you can take notes on your lap
• able to be used in both directions of forum (for lectures or to work on)

• materials: wood,

CONTOURING

• concept: contour to the body in the best interest of comfort
• folds up to forum to lay completely flat against the step
• legs fold up as well so entire bench will fold flat

CONSIDER:

• compact, minimal objects constructed
• writing surface; don't give up on all functions
• consider filling spaces to maximum compacity
• multiple functions out of one design
• potential to fold

DISCUSSION:

• modify dimensions so that seat height is comfortable
• sitting/working/sleeping 
• more comfortable material than just wood/hard surfaces (vinyl)
• consider overhead panels rather than just on wall facades

-two bench groups, one acoustic panel group

-combine sliding with folding + cushions
